Wüsthof is a 200+ year old knife manufacturer from Solingen, Germany. The redesign of their visual identity focused on two qualities – their heritage and the high tech production process. But for a brand to be flexible and future-proof, a design needs to represent more of an ecosystem, rather than architecture. By specifying size ratios between elements, the resulting framework can adapt to any environment or content and provides a recognizable brand presence.
